Can I also use this streamer to stream from my notebook to my TV via Google Chrome, as was possible with the Google Chromecast? Unfortunately, my Google Chromecast no longer works.

Yes, Chrome Cast is integrated into Google TV. I stream from my mobile from the Joyn app to the box. Works perfectly.
