Can I also use a yallo prepaid sim card with this device or does it have to be one with a subscription?

Works with any card. You may have to unlock the SIM card in your mobile phone first (code is sent to your device) and then insert it into the device. I have only had good experiences with this.

It worked perfectly, I just had to deactivate the PIN code of the card. Many thanks for your help!
I can only confirm both answers. It also works with foreign SIM cards.
Works with any SIM card!
