When used as a transmitter (connected to the 3.5 mm audio output of my Windows 10 desktop using the 3.5 mm cable supplied), it worked well with my Sennheiser and KAPPA Bluetooth headphones (i.e. non-brand). I don't know whether it works with headsets that also have a mic (probably not?).
If you have a system that is not BT-capable in terms of HW (e.g. many PC desktops are not BT-capable), you can use a headset. Unlike laptops, many PC desktops are not BT-capable in terms of hardware, but they are in terms of software), I would recommend a Bluetooth USB sound gel (I also bought one from DIGITEC, works perfectly with Windows 10, for example, and is cheaper than a transmitter/receiver).
And another tip for musicians: Bluetooth transmitters (in general, not just this one from Hama!) are not suitable for turning e-pianos, other electric instruments or mixer outputs into Bluetooth transmitters. The delay is usually between 0.5 and 1 second (as I said, this has nothing to do with this product but with the Bluetooth protocol).
By the way, this HAMA also works very well as a receiver!
