Can anyone confirm whether you can use an HDMI switch to connect multiple devices to the HDMI input of this soundbar? Sony support says this is not possible because the soundbar is not an amplifier. I would have to buy an additional Atmos amplifier to be able to connect multiple devices. Sounds illogical to me. How does the soundbar know that there is a switch between it and the device (if it is an 8k@60Hz or 4k@120Hz switch)?

I use a Sony projector that only has two HDMI inputs, so eARC via TV is not an option for me.

unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. The soundbar has (optical audio input, USB-A, exFAT, FAT12/16/32, vFAT, HDMI OUT socket (TV eARC/ARC) ). Further information can be found on our website.
