Can a normal (analogue) landline telephone be connected to the Rj11 connection and thus make calls via the mobile phone network?

The Zyxel LTE3302 model has no Rj11 connection. The sibling model Zyxel LTE3312 would have an Rj11 connection, but is apparently not currently on offer.
An analogue telephone could be connected to the FXS connection. But as far as I know, none of the providers in Switzerland also offers voice on a data SIM. So you could only use the FXS internally as a VoIP connection.
To be on the safe side, first check with your provider.
