Be careful with the expectations: The FRITZ!DECT Repeater 100 must "see" the DECT signal of the Fritzbox, otherwise the connection will not work! I had hoped that a W-LAN in the vicinity would be sufficient for it... In contrast to the W-LAN, which I can bring to where I need it via LAN with the FRITZ!Repeater 3000, AVM unfortunately does not offer a corresponding device for the DECT signal.
You can use a second FritzBox as a Dect Repeater and Wifi Hotspot. You can connect the FRITZ!Box via LAN, as I understand you.
If the boxes are connected accordingly via mesh, the telephony should also work. I have 3 FritzBoxes (1 per floor) in use...
Even easier: download the Fritz Fon App to your smartphone and register your phone with the FRITZ!Box. If you are on WiFi, your smartphone will ring...
