Basically, before I submit my review, I would first like to clarify whether I have forgotten to include something. I have set up a complete Unify network at home and have been very satisfied. Now I have replaced the one from Swisscom with the Ubiquiti. Unfortunately, I'm rather disappointed with it. I now only have WLAN in the living room. As soon as I go upstairs, the reception is so poor that it only works optimally to a limited extent.

The position of the access point is the same as the one from Swisscom. Can't it be that the Unify one is worse? Are there any settings that I didn't see at first glance that I can use to solve this problem?

Hey,

If you have a hardware controller, you can set the transmission power from Low to High in the WLAN AP settings. The first thing you should do is check this.

And what kind of Swisscom was that? Is the reception only so bad at 5Ghz, or also at 2.4GHz?
