on my Panasonic 704 has a netflix, when I press it comes message ,your TV,have Samsung full Hd,is not 2,2 compatible,do I have to buy new TV with Ultra HD now?
Hello René. I'm not a professional and I don't have enough information about your TV, but I would try this first: Your only chance is to find someone who has a modern 4K TV with 2.2. Then connect your player there, go into the setup and set Video Output 4K to off. Then try again at your place. Theoretically, the output is then only in Full HD. But be careful, you definitely need a HighSpeed HDMI cable. Otherwise you probably won't have a picture even with a 4K TV. If that doesn't work either, then you probably have no choice but to buy a new 4K TV with 2.2. I would recommend that anyway. Using this player on a Full HD TV makes little sense. It's the same as throttling down the power of a Ferrari to 50 hp ;-) Greetings
It depends on the age of the TV, as far as I know the first 4K TVs only came out around 2014 and the first generation is also not HDCP2.2 capable. Now the only question is in which year the TV you have came out, another question is, up to which maximum resolution is the TV, there were also TVs that only have Full HD, the connection is certainly not HDCP2.2 capable, also does not make sense to produce a Full HD TV with HDMI HDCP2.2, since only a UHD TV needs that, since normal Blu-rays are not HDCP2.2 capable.
