now I'm thinking about getting a NAS but so far I've only found that I can only access the data via the internet browser when I'm on the road is there also an app or something so that I can access the data with my mobile phone without any problems? that's currently my sticking point for buying or not hoping you can help me out

Synology NAS have individual apps such as DS file which does exactly what you describe.

Bonus tip: If you buy cheap, you buy twice. I had to find that out myself and am now very satisfied with the Synology DS218+.
