As there are very thick walls in our house, I have no telephone signal on one side. To connect to the Internet, I had to go to the trouble of pulling a cable to the other side and connecting a router there. Now I have the question: if I replace my new router with the FritzBox, can I also connect my DECT phone to it? My Internet and telephone come from Swisscom.

I also think that it is possible to set up Swisscom telephony on a Fritz.Box:

However, the Fritz.Box must be set up as an access point, not as a router:
https://avm.de/service...

Then connect a handset to the Fritzbox and it should work. If you still need to buy a phone - I have a Fritz.Fon and it works great with the Fritz.Box. https://www.galaxus.ch/de...

It only makes sense if you can replace the Swisscom router with a FritzBox. This should be possible. You then have to enter the Swisscom data into the FritzBox. Otherwise, a Dect repeater is the solution to the telephone problem.

I think repeaters would be the right answer ..... The Swisscom router must provide these repeater functions for WiFi and DECT. A FritzBox on the LAN cable behind the Swisscom box can only provide Internet .... I operate a 7530 as a master router and two other 7530s as slave boxes in the LAN in a 4-storey house ... This gives me telephony and Internet throughout the house!
