Question about Synology DS920+
are HD Red with CMR or SMR included here? Or are they WD Red Plus?
The HD Red is available with CMR or SMR technology, depending on the type designation.
CMR end with FRX
SMR end with FAX.
For a NAS we recommend. CMR is recommended.
SMR (FAX) were installed in my delivery (for this very product!).
OK for my application, although I would have expected CMR due to the response "history".
According to research, it is including 32 TB (4x 8 TB) WD Red HDDs.
