That is why I ask you, even if you are trustworthy, to verify that the hardware wallet has not been opened and pre-configured. This is extremely important when it comes to personal assets. According to the manufacturer's page, this was mentioned here regarding tamper protection:

Lovingly soldered in Toronto, Canada. Secure supply chain verified with: tamper-evident numbered bag, with bag number recorded into device.
If I have translated this correctly, these wallets come from Canada, with a numbered bag that has also been sealed there, and the same number is also recorded in the device itself.
I don't know what this tamper-evident numbered bag looks like, but if there is such a packaging and the number in the device matches the number of the bag, it should actually fit.
