And how do you proceed if you want to use the basic cablecom package? And there is only one smartcard slot on the right behind the flap!
The slot is probably actually a Conax slot. The statement by digitec in the specifications that the device has a CI slot is therefore incorrect.

Do you mean the free basic package (which comes with every cable connection - https://www.upc.ch/de...) or a subscription with more channels? For the basic offer you don't need a smartcard or a CAM ("DigiCard" as UPC calls it). This is unencrypted DVB-C, which the box can do by default.
