Again, about the expiry date of the licence: I renewed my annual licence about 2 months ago. Does the key I would buy now still apply under the aspect Office 365 -> Microsoft 365 in 10 months?

The annual licence only starts to count when it is activated, not when it is bought! MS doesn't know when the licence goes over the counter. ;) I just wait until the active licence has expired and then enter the new one. Hope I could help you.
