For each connected camera, the detection sensitivity and the detection type (only people or all movements) can be set in the "Camera setting>Motion detection". However, it can sometimes happen that animals at the border of the detection range do not trigger the sensor.

This can be adjusted, as can the movement sensitivity. It picks up quite a bit at night - I've already had a marten rolling around on the doormat.
