Question about D-Link Dwa-171

According to the description from digitec.ch, DWA-171 is compatible with Windows XP. However, on the original packaging it only says Windows 10, 8.1 and 7. Does this device work with Windows XP or not?

Hello Anonymous, the network adapter works with Windows XP. However, it is a prerequisite that Service Pack 3 is installed on the computer. Sincerely
