Question about Stadler Form Oskar

2nd questions : Is the unit suitable for continuous operation (24/7)? My fan stops running after continuous use for several days and smells a bit "muddy". The unit is actually only a few months old. 2. does anyone know what the filters are treated with to achieve an antibacterial effect? Thank you community :)
