1. can you also connect several repeaters to your router? 2. if I want to connect to my current model (TP-Link Re550), I have to do this via a second network with the suffix "_EXT" in the selection. Did I do something different during installation, or do such repeaters always create their "own" network, or is the model dependent? If so, does this model transmit via the same network as the router, so that you don't always have to change the network if you are too far away from the router?

Helpful answer
1 Yes, you can connect multiple repeaters to your router. Each repeater can be paired separately with the router to extend the Wi-Fi range in different areas of your home.

2. the RE700X supports intelligent roaming and EasyMesh compatibility, which means that it can connect to an EasyMesh-compatible router using a single Wi-Fi name. So you don't have to switch between different networks. However, the RE700X will also work with any standard Wi-Fi router where it can create a separate network with additions like your RE550. How it works depends on whether your router supports EasyMesh or not. With an EasyMesh router, the RE700X provides seamless coverage under one name, while with standard routers it creates a separate network.
