These scale pneumatic tyres are designed to reliably absorb the landing shocks of large and heavy models. They are available in two versions.If desired, the two-piecehub allows invisible mounting of the adjusting rings. The tyres are inflated to a maximum of 1 bar using a bicycle pump. Both versions are equipped with high-quality Delrin® inserts for 3/16'' axles (easy to drill out to 5 mm) and for 6 mm axles (easy to drill out to ¼''). Originally developed for models with internal combustion engines, these SuperLight pneumatic tires are now equally interesting for electric models. KAVAN pneumatictires weigh only as much as foam rubber tires and are just as strong as normal plastic/rubber pneumatic tires. Due to a special manufacturing process, the tires have a uniform wall thickness, making them stable to run on without bouncing or egging. This results in superior directional stability. They are just as suitable for smooth runways as for grass runways.

A special manufacturing process eliminates thin-walled spots in the tank. These tanks are suitable for overpressure systems. The brass ring on the neck of the tankprevents bursting, which can occur in some tanks with an expansion cap. The rectangular shape allows maximum use of space and prevents unintentional twisting. The nut on the rear nylon disc prevents the thread from stripping and fuel from leaking. The heavy metal intake cone guarantees an even fuel flow. The throttle linkage can be easily routed in the six hollow grooves on the side walls of the tank (except for order no. KAV0031B). Including pre-bent brass tubes for quick assembly.
