The specified mirror diameters are minimum values for normal satellite antennas for which no bad weather reserve has yet been taken into account. In addition, it was assumed that you only want to receive digital programs. If in doubt, increase the mirror size by one in order to receive the corresponding satellite without interference.

Thanks to the integrated GPS module and electronically controlled drive, the antenna aligns itself automatically at the touch of a button. Even when traveling, you will receive your usual desired program, provided that the respective satellite can be reached. The SNIPE 3 retracts automatically as soon as you switch off the receiver or start the vehicle.
Despite its small dimensions, the Selfsat SNIPE 3 R offers a very good reception result. The three-layer antenna design with wave guide horn array function largely prevents diffuse reflection of the satellite signal. Horizontally and vertically polarized signals are separated from each other and bundled and directed to the LNB. The result: a high signal strength at the LNB.

10. Selfsat Caravan Plus Twin
The Selfsat Caravan Plus is a very compact satellite antenna with excellent reception performance. The special shape of the antenna allows for high gain with a small size and low wind load. It has a height of only 14.9 cm when retracted and features a single connection for one user. The control unit comes with a free app for firmware updates and satellite selection. The antenna is suitable for permanent installation or optionally as a portable antenna.
