A new feature of the Contour meter is a measurement method called Multi-Pulse. Application: The Contour blood glucose meter is ready to use immediately without any presettings. A small amount of just 0.6 µl of blood is sufficient for a precise and reliable determination of blood glucose levels. After only five seconds, the measurement result is displayed in large, easy-to-read numbers. You can then determine your individual therapy measure. If the first drop of blood is not large enough, you have the option to add a second drop of blood to the same sensor within 30 seconds.

- Open the bottle of Contour control solution and place a small drop on a non-absorbent surface. The color of the control solution can be easily washed off without leaving residues.
- Bring the measurement opening of the sensor to the drop of Contour control solution. The control solution will be automatically drawn into the Contour sensor. With the signal tone, the 5-second measurement time begins to count down.
- The measurement result will be displayed.
- Compare the measurement result with the target range, which is indicated on the side of the Contour sensor box below the expiration date.
