The Homematic IP Universal Motor Lock Controller manages motor locks integrated into entrance doors, allows for easy switching between day and night modes, and reliably detects the door status. Thanks to its compatibility with common motor locks, it offers a flexible and secure solution for modern door systems. The controller enables you to securely and smartly control entrance doors with integrated motor locks – the ideal solution for contemporary door systems. In addition to a simple switch between day and night modes, the controller also reliably monitors the door status.
Installation: Due to its compact design, the Universal Motor Lock Controller can be installed in all standard flush-mounted boxes. For comfortable installation, flush-mounted boxes with a depth of at least 50 mm are recommended.
Configuration: With the Homematic IP app, you can conveniently set up the Universal Motor Lock Controller according to your individual preferences and easily integrate common motor locks into your smart home.
Control: Two flexibly usable inputs allow for precise detection of the door status or the configuration of a glass break detector, for example. Using wired buttons or switches, you can easily switch between day and night modes or trigger an opening impulse. Additionally, for smart control of the motor lock, two relay outputs are available, which also allow switching between day and night modes and sending a switching impulse. Another advantage is the secure locking of the door via voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Thanks to configurable access permissions, access to the smart home can be managed individually, regardless of the day of the week or the time of day. The front door can only be opened when the resident desires it, allowing cleaning staff or care services to enter the house at specific times using the remote control on the keychain. The app also logs which door was opened and when, making time-dependent locking unnecessary. At a desired time, the front door can be automatically locked, enhancing security in the smart home and saving unnecessary trips to the door. For added security, the front door can be set to automatically re-lock after each unlocking, with the time and delay settings adjustable via the app. The door lock drive benefits from the VDE-certified protocol as well as IT and data security of the Homematic IP system. Due to its installation on the inside of the door, the device is not visible from the outside. It can be easily mounted on standard profile cylinders with emergency and danger functions without damaging the door, frame, or key. The battery operation requires no wiring. For installation, the lock cylinder must protrude 8-15 mm on the inside of the door. Up to 8 access permissions with individual time profiles can be created per door lock drive. Manual opening and closing is always possible with the knob (emergency function), and the door can still be opened from the outside with a regular key. Personal PINs protect against unintentional operation via the app.
