The ZyXEL WRE6505 Dual-Band Range Extender is a compact plug-in wireless repeater for your home. It optimizes an existing Wi-Fi network and expands coverage. With the latest generation AC Wi-Fi technology, the range extender supports speeds of up to 750 Mbps. Simply plug the device into a power source and find the optimal placement location using the LED lights that indicate signal strength. A Fast Ethernet port allows for connection to wired devices such as Blu-ray players, game consoles, or Smart TVs.
Easy and quick setup: Once plugged in, a single press of the WPS button on the WRE6505 and the existing Wi-Fi router or access point is all it takes to provide Wi-Fi connectivity over a significantly larger area. You can easily select the desired wireless network from the list of available networks. After entering the Wi-Fi password, the connection is established.
Ethernet interface: If WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is not supported by the counterpart, the WRE6505 can be easily configured via the Ethernet interface. In its unconfigured state, an IP address is assigned at the LAN port by the DHCP server, further simplifying the setup.
Compact design for wall mounting: Thanks to its compact design, the WRE6505 can be used anywhere in living spaces. The ideal location can be chosen based on an LED that indicates signal strength for optimal Wi-Fi coverage.
Compatibility: An important advantage of the WRE6505 is its compatibility with all 802.11a/b/g/n/ac access points and routers. This allows every home user to expand their wireless network affordably and with minimal technical effort. Of course, multiple WRE6505 units can be operated in parallel. A wireless range extender is essential for the modern household with multiple wireless devices.
