Supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring Interface (DDMI). DDMI allows the switch to access operational parameters within the fiber optic connection. This includes digital features such as smooth control and monitoring of SFP I/O signals. Furthermore, the DDMI functionality enables the implementation of digital alarms and alerts.
