The new Zyxel Switch RGS100-5P for use in harsh environments operates without a fan and features an IP30-rated housing design. This allows it to manage temperature effectively and withstand even the dustiest conditions with ease. The RGS100-5P is designed for temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C and can be deployed in a variety of demanding environments.

Easy expandability and flexible mounting
The RGS100-5P is equipped with four Gigabit PoE+ ports to easily power high-demand devices, as well as a Gigabit SFP fiber uplink, which connects the network to nodes up to 40 km away, providing additional flexibility. The RGS100-5P can be mounted on a DIN rail or on the wall, allowing for efficient use of available space.

High availability
The RGS100-5P features dual-input DC power supply, making it suitable for high-availability operation and ensuring reliable performance even under the most challenging conditions. When switching occurs outdoors, ESD (electrostatic discharge) and DC surge protection prevent revenue and productivity losses due to damage or weaknesses caused by electrical disturbances.
