The Zyxel LTE3301 v4 is an indoor LTE router that operates at 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps uplink speed. With integrated bridge and router functionality, the LTE3301 is compatible with all possible devices and gateways, allowing seamless and easy integration of your customer premise equipment (CPE). The LTE3301 supports single (LTE) and multi-mode (LTE/3G/2G), so you stay connected at 2G and 3G. The router works with 3GPP Release 9, Category 4 - the LTE technology with transmission speeds of 150 down and 50 upstream. This allows you to enjoy ultra-fast, flexible wireless connectivity anywhere within the LTE/3G/2G signal range. For network integration, Zyxel embeds both bridge and router modes in the LTE3301 v4. Users can benefit from routing capabilities for all major applications. Bridge mode is used to work with the user's existing or preferred device, such as professional WLAN access points, small business gateways, or enterprise gateways. The LTE3301 v4 is compatible with the 802.11b/g/n WLAN standard, so you can benefit from WiFi connections at up to 300 Mbps without any additional devices. Thanks to the LTE3301's wireless connection, neither LTE WAN nor WLAN requires a cable. With LTE or 4G, the mobile data network also becomes attractive for the backup connection of a company network. Bandwidths and latency times are comparable to DSL, and thanks to the choice of three mobile network operators, there is also sufficient coverage. The costs for the required hardware and for the LTE subscription are modest compared to the better availability. The server room is typically inside a building, where LTE reception is often weak or not possible at all. In general, the external antennas of the Zyxel LTE routers are much better than those of a USB dongle or smartphone. The LTE3301 can be placed in an optimal location that is accessible via Ethernet.
