The activation of the CF (Content Filter) service on the ZyWALL USG is done using the license key of the iCard CF. A content filter allows for restricting access to business-relevant websites or filtering out unwanted sites. The reports show attempted accesses to URLs categorized accordingly. Thanks to online access to the database at Commtouch, the categories (e.g., pornography, spyware, games, etc.) are always up to date.

The Cyren Content Filter is a UTM service that has been available since firmware version 4.1. This optional service not only protects the network in real-time from web threats such as malware, phishing, or zombies/bots, but also supports compliance with internal IT policies and prevents access to unwanted sites. When used in a home network, parents can also deny their children access to certain sites.
