VLAN
For certain fiber providers, such as Swisscom, a VLAN must be set up for outgoing data. Swisscom requires VLAN 10 for DHCP connections and VLAN 11 for PPPoE. It is best to configure this VLAN directly in the media converter. With CTS converters, this is not a problem as they are manageable.
