The aircraft made its first flight in September 2014. Unlike the A320, it has a capacity of up to 195 passengers. Generally, the A320neo resembles the base A320, but the main difference between the new aircraft and the previous generation is the more powerful and fuel-efficient engines. These contribute to a reduction in fuel consumption and an increase in the aircraft's range. Thanks to them, the new aircraft is the quietest in its class. The new aircraft modification is equipped with Sharklets, which enhance the aerodynamic properties of the aircraft.
