Yamaha Soavo NS-SW901

With Yamaha's Advanced YST II (Yamaha Active Servo Technology II), the speaker diaphragm is controlled even more precisely by a new negative impedance converter. The result is a more solid and accurate response in the low frequency range, higher sound pressure, and thus a more natural and powerful bass reproduction.

The NS-SW901 features a built-in digital 600 W amplifier, delivering enormous bass. Together with a PLL circuit developed by Yamaha, it creates a physical bass sensation that is unparalleled. A stable power supply ensures continuous energy delivery, so the subwoofer never runs out of breath even during intense bass storms. The low-frequency driver developed by Yamaha impresses with its highest stability, achieved through carbon fiber reinforcements in the paper cone.

The wooden ports are made from pieces of alder wood, giving the cabinet an aesthetic appearance that integrates well into living spaces. The dual port allows for deep bass without unnecessarily enlarging the cabinet. The ports have a natural shape and are designed according to a special algorithm, preventing any airflow noise at the port.

The new Soavo NS-SW901 is meticulously crafted and stabilized, particularly due to the elaborate 3-way tongue-and-groove construction. This makes the cabinet a unified structure, behaving extremely stably as a whole. Unnecessary vibrations on and within the cabinet are thus avoided. The 37 mm thick MDF is another reason why the cabinet appears solid and indestructible. This transforms every movie into a special experience.
