In the age of high-resolution audio sources, we are not only looking at the future of compact loudspeakers from the aspect of a good price/performance ratio. The NS-B330 uses a completely new dome tweeter that is compatible with high-definition signals, making it different from conventional speakers that only pretend to be high-definition. The NS-B330 reproduces frequencies up to 40 kHz. The focus here is on the tuning that enables the realistic reproduction of vocals, as this is the area where listeners can see the differences in quality most clearly. In addition, the speaker produces a room-filling, uncolored bass.

As the next generation loudspeaker, the NS-B330 takes a new approach by placing an aluminum dome inside the voice coil. The black anodized aluminum suppresses the aluminum-specific sound and allows rich, accurate reproduction of all facets and details of high frequencies. The diffuser has been given a new, advanced shape and the voice coil has been redesigned from CCAW (copper-coated aluminum wire) with attention to the material used and to linearity. While preserving all information and energy in the audible frequency range, the result is a high-frequency reproduction up to 45 kHz (-10 dB) with extended high frequencies.

The unique waveguide horn and tweeter use the same directivity control technology used in studio monitors to control the spread of indirect sound. The vertical and horizontal directivity control amplifies the spatiality of the sound, allowing for vivid stereo reproduction.

With a 30% content of high-quality white mica, the 13 cm woofer uses a light but very resistant PMD (Polymer-injected Mica Diaphragm) cone, which achieves optimal values for internal friction loss and elasticity. For the new design, both the voice coil and the fixing spider were improved. As a product of the future in the field of compact hi-fi bookshelf speakers, its gentle but powerful bass completely redefines the expressiveness of music.
