Xoro HST 260

The Android 6 Marshmallow operating system allows you to customize the features of the IP box according to your preferences with apps from the Google Play Store. The new customizable home screen makes it easier to access your apps and important settings – both with the included remote control and with an externally connected mouse or keyboard. Thanks to the 64-bit Quad-Core processor with a clock speed of 4x 2.0 GHz and 2 GB of RAM, there is sufficient power and memory available for demanding apps.

With the new HST 260 series, Android IP boxes now also have the capability to display resolutions of up to 3840 x 2160 pixels on a connected UHD television for the first time.

The most important apps are already pre-installed. In addition to an internet browser, email, and file manager, there are also apps for streaming online television, internet radio, and videos from video portals. The KODI (formerly XBMC) application transforms your Xoro IP box into a fully functional multimedia center that can be expanded with numerous plugins. The pre-installed apps for music, HD video, and image playback support the most common file formats.

Connection to the home network can be made either via network cable or wirelessly, thanks to the built-in dual-band Wi-Fi technology. Once connected to the network, the IP box's major strengths become apparent. Pre-installed services allow you to stream multimedia files directly from your Android, iOS, or DLNA-compatible smartphone or tablet to the HST 260. The simple and straightforward online update function keeps your device's firmware up to date.
