Product details

The special Wirewin Securelock connector prevents the accidental disconnection of a patch cable, thereby enhancing your network security at the lowest layer, the cabling. It can only be released with a special key. Wirewin patch cables of category 6A comply with the values according to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2, allowing for data transmission of 10 GBit/s. Category 6A is specified at 500 MHz. The cable for these patch cables is double-shielded. Each pair is in its own foil shielding, and there is an additional braided shielding on top of that. This construction is often referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket of these cables is made from halogen-free material and is therefore flame-resistant.
