Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and are used for signal transmission with high data transfer rates of up to 1 Gbps. The individual wire pairs in Cat6 are twisted at different tightness levels, further reducing susceptibility to interference compared to Cat5e.
