The Slim Patch Cables from Wirewin are a solution for various cabling issues. Although they visually resemble flat ribbon cables, the Slim Patch Cables achieve Category 6 specifications, making them suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T/TX applications, including Gigabit Ethernet. Remarkably, three Slim Patch Cables have the diameter of a single standard Cat5e patch cable. Despite their extremely thin design, the cable features twisted pairs. Additionally, it has a wide, flexible strain relief and a practical length print on both ends, supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE).
A typical application area for the Slim Patch Cables includes crowded server or network cabinets and cable ducts. They are also recommended for telephone panels in server environments with high port densities, or for connecting VoIP phones. Furthermore, the Slim Patch Cables are ideal for transport in tight spaces, such as laptop bags. They can also be laid under carpets or laminate flooring.
