Wirewin® Category 6A patch cables meet the specifications according to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2 and enable data transmission of 10 GBit/s. Category 6A is specified at 500 MHz. The cable is double-shielded, with each pair housed in its own foil shielding and an additional braided shield on top. This design is often referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket of these cables is made from halogen-free material, making it flame-retardant. Yellow Category 6A RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts are encased in a special Wirewin® strain relief sleeve that protects the connector while allowing for easy bending. A length marking is located on the underside of the sleeve. All Wirewin® KAT6A patch cables come with a lifetime warranty.
