LWO-SFPP-LR Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceivers are compatible with the Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA). The transceiver consists of five parts: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the DFB laser, and the PIN photodetector. The module enables a data connection of up to 10 km in 9/125um single-mode fibers.

The optical output can be disabled by a TTL logic high-level input from Tx Disable. Tx Fault is provided to indicate a degradation of the laser. The output Loss of Signal (LOS) indicates the loss of an optical input signal from the receiver or the connection status with the partner.
