Product details

Gray mounting tape is a strong adhesive, double-sided tape made from modified acrylic foam. This tape is particularly suitable for bonding parts with low surface energy, such as PE and PP, as well as for powder-coated surfaces. In combination with WEICON adhesives and sealants, it can serve as a fixing aid in hybrid bonding applications.

The tape has high flexibility to optimally compensate for any stresses during curved bonding. It is suitable for permanent bonding both indoors and outdoors. The tape has a temperature resistance of -40 to +120 °C and is UV and moisture resistant.

The gray mounting tape can be used in various applications, such as in body and vehicle technology, in the caravan sector, in metal and apparatus construction, in the electronics industry, in mechanical engineering, in advertising technology, as well as in shipbuilding and boating technology.
