A lot, in fact: The "+4" in the name of the Wizard 24+4 refers to the additional volume in liters that can be added to the base volume of 24 liters through a zipper that runs around the pack. The length of the shoulder straps, and thus the back length, is also adjustable. These can be individually adjusted via a Velcro fastener on the back panel from size S to XL. The mesh ventilation of the daypack works in the same way. Depending on the ventilation needs and desired pack volume, the back panel can be shaped differently—whether more ventilation or a closer fit is preferred. The front pocket of the backpack spans the entire area and provides additional storage space. The rain cover is conveniently stored in a bottom compartment, but the material is already water-repellent, keeping out a few drops. Thus, the Wizard 24+4 from Vaude is a great companion for day hikes, single-day summit tours, or a trip to the lake.
