The VALUE Fast Ethernet Converter RJ-45 is a powerful solution for converting a Fast Ethernet TP port into a multimode fiber optic connection. It supports the IEEE 802.3 10Base-T and IEEE 802.3u 100Base-TX standards on the TP side and is compatible with IEEE 802.3u 100Base-FX on the fiber side. With a maximum range of up to 2 km, this converter is ideal for applications that require reliable and fast data transmission. The shielded RJ-45 socket offers auto MDI/MDI-X detection as well as auto-negotiation for speed and duplex, simplifying installation and use. The converter is designed to operate in a temperature range of 0 to 40 °C and features LEDs to indicate TP data rate, link/activity, and power status. Power is supplied via an external power adapter included in the package, and the converter is characterized by low energy consumption.
