All keys to authorized areas are centrally located on the smartphone or transponder. As an administrator, access permissions can be activated or blocked in seconds using the eLockApp. The app can manage up to 250 users and 25 locks. Updated permissions are transferred to the corresponding locking cylinders using a programming card. Status information, such as access events or energy levels, is also accessible in the app. Communication occurs via Bluetooth, and network cabling is not required. Data security during information exchange between the cylinder and the app is ensured by the AES 128 encryption method. Keys and locking cylinders communicate via Bluetooth wireless technology.
