Product details
UHU por was specifically developed for bonding polystyrene foam (e.g., Styrofoam). It provides excellent adhesion between foam parts as well as with other materials. Designed specifically for plastics, the adhesive does not attack the surfaces and yet forms a flexible and aging-resistant adhesive film. Its nearly transparent properties after curing allow for bonding in visible areas without optical impairments.
In addition to bonding polystyrene foam (e.g., Styrofoam) together, UHU por can also bond foam materials with wood, wood-based materials, metals, many plastics, textiles, paper, and cardboard. Photo papers or plastic-coated colored papers can also be bonded with this specialty adhesive. After thorough drying, a neutral, acid-free, alkaline-free, and transparent adhesive film is formed, which is particularly impressive due to its waterproof and aging-resistant properties. The secure and strong bonding of challenging materials such as polystyrene foam (e.g., Styrofoam) with each other and with other materials highlights the special focus of the adhesive.
