At first glance, you will recognize that the boat is a replica of a typical tugboat used in any major port. The deck structures are intricately detailed. However, the unique feature of this model is its propulsion, which is powered by a rubber band motor. This motor transfers its energy to a drive wheel. With the rubber band fully wound, the model can travel between 1.5 to 3 meters depending on the surface. An asymmetrical pair of wheels rotates, creating a rocking motion that imitates the swaying of a ship in rough waters. At the same time, a working pendulum produces a sound very similar to that of a ship's diesel engine. This makes the Ugears model nearly perfect.
