In front of you is a new mechanical model UGEARS "tram line". It is the first model from the new series "Mechanical City".
The model "tram line" consists of 14 elements, which are produced in a uniform scale. On the one hand, it is very amusing to assemble all the parts, on the other hand an assembled model acquires interesting mechanical characteristics and a unique design. The tram has movable mechanical components, made only of wood. It is a whole new mechanical world, which can be constantly expanded and supplemented with other models.
Main figures of the model "tram line":
Tram has a pantograph on the roof, rubber motor, visible gears and drives. Like a real tram, it has doors that can be opened and closed. The tram is pulled up and after lifting the pantograph it moves forward. Once the rubber motor is wound up and the tram travels on the rails to the depot where a special tongue stops it. With a lever you can turn the rails by 180 degrees, so that the tram drives out of the depot again. Without electronics this model works only by gravity, gears and rubber band
