This vintage truck is truly a sight to behold, but it’s not just for show. The Ugears Pick-up Lumberjack is a work truck designed for a job: transporting wood (or hay bales or tools—whatever you can imagine)! This DIY wooden model is based on the popular 1959 Chevrolet 3100 and features a 1 m x 7 mm spring motor (similar to the powerful Ugears Drift Cobra). It can drive up to 6 meters and carry loads of 400 to 450 grams in the bed. The control knob is styled to resemble an open air filter protruding from the hood. Lift the hood to reveal the beautiful V8 engine that really purrs!

The Pick-up Lumberjack has 3 modes: R (reverse), N (neutral), and D (drive). The energy from the spring is transmitted to gears to increase the gear ratio, and then through the transmission to the drive shaft, differential, and rear axle. With a start/stop mechanism in the bed, you can start the truck on command. At Ugears, we focus on the small, quirky details that make a model extraordinary; a small pendulum under the seats simulates the shaking from the powerful engine. Curved plywood gives the model beautiful lines and a 1950s style. The truck's doors can be opened from both the inside and outside, and the tailgate can be lowered. The front wheels can be turned with the steering wheel and locked for smooth cornering. The Pick-up Lumberjack also features front and rear suspension, so you won’t be jostled too much on country roads.
