This model differs slightly from other mechanical Ugears models, as the yacht does not have gears or a spring or rubber band motor to propel it. Instead, it is designed as a charming decorative element for home or office.

The DIY wooden yacht model features a curved mainsail with a boom and a jib, both attached to a tall mast with shrouds on the starboard and port sides. A railing made of stanchions and ship’s rigging runs around the deck. Two life rings and an anchor contribute to the yacht's realistic appearance.
