Product details

PoE to USB adapter. Supplies power to a USB device via PoE. RJ45 connector (802.3af PoE In). USB Type A socket (5 volts with 2 amps). Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows compatible devices to be powered through the network cable. This reduces cabling effort and provides high flexibility in the placement of end devices, especially for wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras.

Ubiquiti Networks is an American manufacturer of high-performance networking components. Ubiquiti's goal is to provide cutting-edge and easy-to-implement communication solutions for a global customer base. The company was founded in 2005 and initially produced Wi-Fi adapters for PCs. Later, the product range was expanded to include devices such as Wi-Fi routers, particularly for outdoor use. The company now also manufactures switches and surveillance cameras. Ubiquiti products impress with their superior performance, clever mechanical design, and ease of use.

The IEEE 802.3af standard provides a maximum of 15.4 watts of power per PoE port with a voltage of up to 48 volts. The standard assumes that after line losses, 12.95 watts of usable power remain to avoid exceeding the maximum power output.
