The EdgePower uses modular power supplies for flexible configuration options. The EdgePower can utilize two modular power supplies to provide up to 300 W of power, or it can be configured to deliver up to 150 W of power with an automatic power supply backup. The EdgePower consists of a rack-mountable chassis with two slots and a control unit, and includes an AC-DC 54 V, 150 W power supply module.
High power: The EdgePower delivers up to 150 W of output power. With an optional power supply in the secondary slot, the EdgePower can be configured to provide up to 300 W of power.
Backup power supply: The secondary power supply can be configured as a backup. In backup mode, the secondary power supply remains inactive and offline. When a failure of the primary power supply is detected, the secondary power supply is automatically activated to provide power.
