The DALI control unit with integrated RJ45 LAN module enables the connection, commissioning, and operation of LiveLink sensor units, LiveLink DALI switch couplers, and DALI lights. It can manage up to 64 DALI participants. Predefined room configurations (use cases) with all planning-relevant data allow for easy and quick commissioning.

The addressing of lights and LiveLink system components is done using a graphical user interface (iOS/Android app) for tablet PCs. It offers fully automatic (automatic on/off) or semi-automatic (only automatic off) presence detection, with freely programmable switch functions.

The control unit with integrated 230 V power supply is designed for installation on a DIN rail (TS35). Commissioning with the LiveLink Install App is done via a Wi-Fi connection (WPA2 encryption) with a tablet PC. It features a DALI interface for connecting lights, LiveLink sensors, and switch couplers, as well as an RJ45 socket for integration into the existing LAN with a Wi-Fi router.

Operation is optionally possible with a tablet PC, smartphone, or installation switch. For commissioning and operation with a tablet PC or smartphone, a connection of the control unit to a Wi-Fi-capable router is required (at least according to IEEE 802.11b).
