The Trendnet media converter TFC-PGSFP is a powerful solution for connecting networks via fiber optic. It enables the conversion of electrical signals to optical signals and vice versa, ensuring seamless communication between different network types. Equipped with a Gigabit PoE PD SFP fiber media converter, it offers a 100/1000BASE-T PoE input as well as a 100/1000BASE-SX/LX SFP slot. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE), meaning no additional power supply is required. The SFP slot supports both multimode and single-mode modules, increasing flexibility in network integration. Additionally, the media converter supports Link Fault Pass-Through (LFPT) and jumbo frames up to 9 KB, further optimizing network efficiency and performance.
